The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified Business Management Professor to teach and lead a course in the Fall 2024 semester. As a professor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of the university's business programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments, that align with the university's curriculum and learning objectives.
- Teach and engage students in the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and development.
- Contribute to the development of the university's business programs, including curriculum design, program assessment, and accreditation.
- Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a strong background in management and leadership. You should also have significant experience in a large organization, with a proven track record of teaching and leading in an academic or professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications
A PhD in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, as is experience in curriculum design and program assessment. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
