We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments, plan, and provide personal care to patients, in accordance with the competency guidelines and scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Work collaboratively with the Unit/Program Manager or designate and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as required.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the CLPNBC.
