Senior Business Intelligence Developer for COO Support Tools

Job Overview:

Lorven Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join its COO Support Tools squad in Montreal, QC.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of business intelligence solutions based on the IBM Planning Analytics platform. He/She will need to have excellent communication skills and experience working directly with the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions using the IBM Planning Analytics platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, and dashboards using TM1web UIs and PAW.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, and support end-users.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for process improvements and scalability enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in developing applications using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) platform reporting and modeling tool.
  • Expert knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics and BI tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of cubes design, Turbo Integrator processes, rules engine, and scripting using PAW, PAfE, and TM1web UIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with global teams.
