About the Role

CARECORP AT CERWYDDEN LIMITED is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health and well-being.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to help them maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote their independence and dignity.
  • Respond to patients' call signals to determine their needs and provide timely support.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations to provide immediate care and support.
Requirements
  • Criminal record check to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Initiative to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Work Term: Permanent with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
