Food Service Manager

At Roger's Drive In, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience at Roger's Drive In is exceptional.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and development.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on customer service and quality food preparation.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Security and Safety: Bondable.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
