Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized childcare centre, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
- Support early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Engage children in activities that foster their creativity and curiosity, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
- Help children develop essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
- Collaborate with early childhood educators to keep accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Flexibility to work 40 hours per week.
