Job Title: Childcare Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Worker to join our team at Brentwood Childcare Center.

Job Summary

The Childcare Worker will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes engaging children in activities, preparing snacks, and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.

Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children's development
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Childcare Worker will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
