Bartek Ingredients Inc is seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer Apprentice to join our team. As a Stationary Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and operation of our plant equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction
  • Assist during routine systems testing
  • Assist in locating and isolating system problems
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures
  • Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair
  • Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and to ensure plant systems are operating normally
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance
  • Start up and shut down power plant equipment
  • Write plant or building operation reports
Requirements:
  • Stationary Engineering Trade Certification
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent position
  • 80 to 84 hours bi-weekly
  • English language
