Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Patient Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
  • Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage Medications and Treatments: Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear understanding and cooperation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Clearances: Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
