Empowerment Health Services is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Truro, Nova Scotia. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments, as well as providing expert witness testimony in a legal context.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement assessment protocols for various cases
- Conduct assessments through interviewing, behavioral observation, and test administration
- Review academic and medical records
- Administer and score neuropsychological and psychological tests
- Provide comprehensive written and oral assessments of client functioning
- Develop treatment recommendations based on evidence-based research
- Maintain confidential client records
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Nova Scotia
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
