Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized and friendly service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage the host stand, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, beverage lists, and special promotions.
- Efficiently track covers in the dining room and have a general understanding of the union agreement.
- Attend pre-shift, weekly, and monthly meetings to stay informed and communicate with colleagues.
- Participate in health and safety procedures to prevent workplace accidents.
- Carry out miscellaneous duties as requested by your supervisor.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, working effectively with colleagues to provide exceptional service.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food and beverage setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
- Ability to multitask and handle high volumes of guest requests.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
