The Role:

We're seeking a strategic and analytical director to oversee pricing operations, ensuring profitability, market competitiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives.

This individual will lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the organization's integrated product portfolio, including insurance, health, and administrative services.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Actuarial Pricing: Own the pricing strategy and execution for the organization's insurance products, ensuring financial sustainability and competitive positioning.
  2. Enterprise Financial Strategy and Integration: Serve as a key liaison between finance and product innovation teams, ensuring that pricing strategies align with the organization's strategic goals.
  3. Team Management and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the team, providing guidance, feedback, and training to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree would be an asset.
  • 7+ years of experience in either a Health and Benefits Insurance role (actuarial, consulting, pricing, etc.).
  • FSA/ASA or CPA designation or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
