Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant - Sports Injury Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves working with patients who have suffered sports-related injuries, providing expert care and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer evaluative tests to assess patient progress and develop effective treatment plans
  • Assist physicians in the assessment and diagnosis of patients, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to deliver high-quality patient care, addressing their unique needs and goals
  • Conduct research in physiotherapy to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in the field
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, promoting independence and confidence in their recovery
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., physiotherapy, kinesiology)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physiotherapy or sports medicine
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Criminal record check required for vulnerable sector positions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client-centered care

Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
