Job Title: Transport Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Transport Mechanic to join our team at Transport Guilbault inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and completing reports to record problems and work performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced mechanics and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
