Job Summary

Transport Guilbault inc. is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with commercial transport trucks, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on commercial transport trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, judgement, reliability, team player, punctuality.
