Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Shared Services team, responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the organization. This role involves analyzing financial results, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead month-end activities for non-operating business units, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Implement and maintain an effective internal controls environment.
  • Lead the Corporate budget-actual review process and analyze financial results.
  • Provide finance support to senior executives and develop monthly forecasts.
  • Support the annual operating plan process and oversee internal invoicing.
  • Train and develop co-op students and supervise team members.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and accounting skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in public accounting and/or manufacturing environment, with some experience in public company external reporting and compliance preferred.
  • Experience with large ERP systems such as JDE or SAP software preferred.
