Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Shared Services team at ATS Automation, responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the organization. This role involves leading month-end activities, implementing internal controls, and providing financial analysis and insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage month-end activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, and analyze results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain an effective internal controls environment, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership.
  • Support the development of the annual operating plan and budget, and provide financial guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement process improvements, and provide training and development opportunities to team members.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience in public accounting and/or in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within and outside the organization, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with large ERP systems, such as JDE or SAP software, is preferred.
