About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Anand Pizza and Sweet Shop LTD. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to impress our customers.
  • Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery safely and effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions.
