About the Role

We are seeking an experienced global trade compliance attorney to join our dynamic team and help innovate our compliance program. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in advising multinational businesses on trade compliance matters, including US export controls, imports/customs, sanctions, and compliance program development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all facets of global trade compliance with an emphasis on supply chain, engineering, and procurement functional-related trade challenges.
  • Continually analyze the evolving trade laws and regulations applicable to the company and their impact on strategy and operations.
  • Advise and problem-solve on compliance issues involving technology transfers and IT controls/security for controlled technology and supply chain restrictions.
  • Partner with leaders within legal, engineering, and supply chain on large-scale, complex supply chain initiatives.
  • Develop process enhancements that embed new regulatory requirements into business operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in advising multinational businesses on trade compliance matters.
  • Subject matter expertise with non-US export and import regulatory regimes.
  • Experience in government relations and trade strategy deployment.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and visually present complex legal advice for senior executives.
