Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join our team at AAA Canada.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a focus on producing high-quality parts according to customer specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Weld steel parts using various processes, including (GMAW) and (FCAW), with a focus on quality and efficiency;
• Inspect produced parts visually and using measuring instruments to ensure conformity to standards;
• Maintain and improve welding techniques on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials;
• Classify parts required for specific jobs and interpret welds from technical drawings;
• Possess a thorough understanding of welding parameters and their effects on metal properties.

Requirements:

• Diploma in welding or welding-fitting;
• Experience in training and integrating new employees;
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industry;
• Valid forklift operator's card (an asset);
• Oral and written bilingualism (English-French) is an important asset for communication and documentation.

Salary Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
