At Mara Consulting, Inc., we're seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. As part of this role, you'll work closely with clients across various sectors, including public, healthcare, and private.

We're looking for an exceptional professional who can deliver high-quality project plans, governance structures, communication strategies, risk assessments, and reporting mechanisms that add value to our clients' businesses. Your excellent writing skills and ability to apply appropriate project management methodologies will be key assets in this position.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience leading adaptive/Agile and predictive/waterfall project lifecycles, as well as strong governance practices in communication and management of multiple project committees, stakeholders, project teams, business owners, and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients
  • Develop and implement effective project governance structures, communication strategies, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage multiple project commitments, stakeholders, and sponsor expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, including adaptive/Agile and predictive/waterfall project lifecycles
  • Demonstrated experience applying strong governance practices in project management

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
