Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at RA WALIA INC. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers: Effectively manage the workload of sales associates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Order Merchandise: Manage inventory levels, ordering stock as needed to meet customer demand.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize overtime.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to management.
- Resolve Issues: Proactively address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may impact store operations.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and that products are easily accessible to customers.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of sales associates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate counting and reconciliation of cash and credit transactions.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of staff.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Lead and motivate a team of office and volunteer staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
