Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Tudor House Personal Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist with feeding residents as needed.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including making beds and cleaning patient rooms.
  • Transportation: Safely transport residents in wheelchairs or stretchers as required.
  • Communication: Respond to call signals and communicate with residents, families, and staff to ensure their needs are met.
  • Documentation: Accurately document resident care and activities in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
