About the Job

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Neels Heating & Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and overhaul heating systems, including refrigeration systems and ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, including measuring, cutting, and connecting piping using welding and brazing equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
  • Interpret gas codes and handle, recover, and store refrigerants safely.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components and repair and service gas appliances and related equipment.
Requirements
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B.
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 3 or C.
  • Gas Fitter Trade Certification.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in various environments, including hot and cold temperatures.
