Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hog Farm Worker to join our team at F. Ménard. As a Hog Farm Worker, you will be responsible for managing the farm to raise high-quality hogs according to established procedures and technologies, while controlling production costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check animals, hog barns, and production material daily to ensure proper operation of all farm facilities
  • Feed hogs to ensure optimal growth and production results
  • Order feed and medications as needed
  • Clean, wash, and disinfect pens after animals leave
  • Receive piglets and count them with transporters
  • Write reports regarding herd, equipment, and buildings
  • Help load animals and perform maintenance on equipment and buildings
  • Apply HACCP and OSH standards
  • Apply supervisor's recommendations
Requirements
  • Good physical condition to handle animals and perform maintenance work
  • Knowledge of agricultural maintenance and animal care
  • Independent and resourceful to carry out duties in specific timeframes
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Animal lovers and dedicated to obtaining the best possible results
