Production Manager Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Reel FX Creative Studios. The successful candidate will work closely with the Producer and Production Manager to prioritize, organize, and manage the workflow of the production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Producer and Production Manager to define and manage the production schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
• Take and distribute notes during reviews and sessions, facilitating effective communication among team members.
• Utilize digital tracking systems to monitor artist task completion and provide regular updates to the team.
• Create detailed breakdowns from scripts and animatics, supporting the production team in their work.
• Identify opportunities to assist and ensure teams meet goals and deadlines, promoting a culture of productivity and efficiency.
• Meet with the Production Manager and Producer to discuss and troubleshoot priority issues, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Communicate with the Producer, Production Manager, and other Coordinators to prioritize and adjust schedules as needed, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Provide weekly status reports to the Producer, highlighting departmental progress and facilitating informed decision-making.
Requirements:
• A DEC or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in an organizational capacity.
• Proven experience working on animated or live-action productions, with a focus on organizational and management skills.
• Strong ability to create production schedules, milestones, and manage work within a department to meet goals.
