We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients by providing them with the highest quality care in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Job:

As an experienced Registered Care Aide, you will be responsible for providing in-home support to clients in the Chilliwack area. Your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with plenty of hours and opportunities to advance your career.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and hygiene assistance to clients
  • Assisting with meal preparation and planning
  • Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
  • Accompanying clients on errands and grocery shopping trips
  • Administering medication and assisting with exercise routines
  • Providing companionship and social interaction to clients
Requirements:
  • Smartphone savvy for use during shifts to clock in and out and do visit notes
  • Complete a criminal record check
  • Consistent job performance & attendance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Professional demeanour and respectful attitude
  • Ability to perform basic housekeeping + meal prep tasks
  • Home support worker certification preferred (but not necessary)
  • Flexible availability
  • Previous caregiving and or elder care experience
  • 1+ professional references
  • Applicant must reside in British Columbia
