About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic instruments and equipment in hospitals and laboratories across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair diagnostic instruments and equipment at customer sites
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to customers
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of instruments to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical service role, preferably in the medical or diagnostic industry
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic instruments and equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Bilingual in French and English (written and verbal)
  • Valid passport and good driving record required
