Job Summary

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer- Analyst-Sustaining to support the development and implementation of projects and work packages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering and project management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Coordinator to define project objectives, milestones, and schedules.
  • Conduct project activities in accordance with company procedures and project management rules.
  • Manage project objectives and ensure timely completion.
  • Liaise with functions and report to the Project Coordinator.
  • Challenge solutions proposed by engineering functions and propose actions to improve product performance.
  • Manage the repair process for products and coordinate engineering activities for major in-service problems resolution.
  • Conduct product improvement projects and manage product evolutions following customer or internal requirements.
  • Coordinate CMM updates to improve repair process performance and monitor design-to-specification development and qualification.
  • Support requirement validation and verification activities during development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Physics, or Engineering Science).
  • Aerospace engineering background and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiating skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Landing gear technical knowledge and experience in project management and lean-sigma is an asset.
