About the Role:

As an Area Manager at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada), you will play a key role in leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth in our branches. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your leadership skills, business acumen, and passion for banking to make a meaningful impact in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mentor and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  3. Oversee branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a high level of operational excellence.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to ensure our branch remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

  1. Undergraduate degree and/or over 5 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field.
  2. Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC Course.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  4. Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of banking products and services, as well as regulatory requirements.
