Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to join our Toronto office and provide support to the Commercial Real Estate practice group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of complex commercial real estate transactions.

About the RoleThe Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will be responsible for:
- Assisting lawyers with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and land development;
- Conducting due diligence, analyzing agreements, and preparing written reports and opinions;
- Reviewing and drafting contracts, leases, and other documents related to commercial real estate transactions;
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects;
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or corporate setting;
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law and practices;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Familiarity with legal accounting software, such as Aderant.
