Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior SAB Prototype Technologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the SAB Technology team to develop fabrication plans and test article requirements.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to develop manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Coordinate activities with the SAB Engineer for design, procurement, and assembly of required jigs and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and rework/repair non-conforming products to determine root cause.
- Contribute to the design and build of new test stations and equipment.
- Diploma in Industrial Automation, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least years of experience in a prototyping and fabrication role.
- High attention to detail to achieve specific sample variations called for in the validation plan.
- Ability to refine requirements and designs on the fly.
- Ability to manufacture parts using hand or machine tools, including lathes, mills, fabrication, and welding equipment.
