Executive Culinary Supervisor

The Ginger Beef Bistro House is seeking a skilled Executive Culinary Supervisor to oversee the culinary operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of quality and excellence.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work space.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to meet meal preparation needs.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
This position requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, and physically demanding tasks. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is also required. The work environment is noisy, with exposure to odours and wet/damp conditions.
Benefits- $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience.
