Job Summary

XtL Transport Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Carrier Logistics Planner to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our carrier partners, ensuring seamless transportation operations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute carrier strategies to meet business objectives and improve transportation efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners, ensuring high levels of service and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze carrier performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize transportation operations.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carrier partners to ensure competitive pricing and maximum value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless order completion and meet customer demands.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with carrier partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AS400 and Lotus software, with experience in transportation management systems a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Work Environment

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and provide follow-up with strong attention to details.
