About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Lawtons. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and processing prescription requests, including in-person and telephone refill requests
  • Understanding and promoting pharmacy programs to patients
  • Creating and receiving drug orders, as well as compounding and pill pack assembly
  • Managing behind-the-counter tasks, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, and stock returns
  • Assisting the pharmacist with dispensary tasks as permitted by scope
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
