Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst

Brand Momentum is a leading marketing, sales, and retail agency that delivers authentic and enduring human connections across Canada. As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales and Merchandising team in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete monthly invoicing and reconciliation for all clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Conduct weekly analysis comparing Natural Insights data with ADP (payroll) submissions, identifying discrepancies, and notifying payroll-approving managers of anomalies.
  • Regularly review Natural Insights metrics submitted by field colleagues across all clients, ensuring 100% accuracy by identifying, tracking, and reporting any missing, inaccurate, or erroneous data to the appropriate managers for correction.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to support sales and merchandising operations.
  • Generate financial reports for management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Participate in financial audits and contribute to the preparation of audit reports as required.
  • Maintain detailed financial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year's experience as a junior financial analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Post-Secondary Education preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, financial modeling software.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP) and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with retail or merchandising operations is a plus.
