Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Wealth Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Wealth Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our Private Wealth Advisors in delivering superior customer service, managing client relationships, and executing routine operations related to financial transactions.

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and colleagues to provide exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Private Wealth Advisors in providing excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently
  • Carrying out routine operations related to financial transactions, such as purchases and sales of securities, transaction adjustments, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and currency conversions
  • Analyzing, opening, and updating client files, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Producing portfolio management reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends
  • Managing client files, scheduling appointments, preparing client meetings, and maintaining organized records
  • Ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management rules, adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Guiding and training new employees, serving as a reference person (mentor) for complex products, procedures, and policies

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed college or university diploma in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration
  • Five years of relevant experience in the banking, insurance, or financial industry, preferably in a back-office or asset management role
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and building strong relationships
