We are a reputable automotive repair shop seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic - Repair and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing or replacing parts and components, and ensuring all work is performed to manufacturer specifications.

Job Description

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week, requiring a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 2 years of experience in the field. You will have the opportunity to work independently, manage your time effectively, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions;
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems;
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components;
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications;
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service;
  • Test and adjust units to specifications;
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed;
  • Cross-train apprentices and provide customer service.
