Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Entrustment Automotive Inc. as an Automotive Repair Specialist. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, and proficiency in the English language is required.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, repairing or replacing units or components, and estimating parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical units to identify issues and determine repair or replacement needs.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of mechanical units or components using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Evaluate and estimate parts and labor costs to ensure accurate billing and maintain profitability.
  • Test and adjust units to meet specifications and manufacturer requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports to record problems and work performed, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with customers and management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to dust and dirt. You must be able to stand for extended periods and have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.

Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as automotive technology or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and resolving complex issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
