At JC's Grill House, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of banquets, events, and catering services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Cost products and services, ensuring optimal profitability
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, building strong relationships
  • Lead and instruct individuals, providing guidance and support
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a strong team player attitude
