Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care by processing customer transactions, receiving and releasing prescriptions, and assisting with other pharmacy operations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Pill Pack Assembly
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
  • Drug order creation and receiving
  • Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments)
  • BTC management
  • Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, manual third parties

Requirements

  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other Pharmacy Recognized program
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
