HVAC Controls Specialist for Winnipeg Regional Health Authority

As an HVAC Controls Specialist with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the health care services provided through our integrated network of sites, services, and organizations.
Job SummaryUnder the general supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator, Property Management or designate, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing HVAC control systems, including computerized controls. You will perform preventative maintenance procedures and checks on all HVAC systems, ensuring seamless operations across air-handling units, chilled water loop controls, humidification, hot water heating systems, and other related equipment.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and service HVAC control systems, including computerized controls
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and checks on all HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Five (5) years recent experience in all aspects of installation, maintenance, modification, inspection, and replacement of HVAC systems, equipment, and components, preferably in a hospital setting
- Previous experience with at least one of the following: Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Siemens software, and ability to work with Phoenix, Tek-AIR, TSI, and Isolation Room Operation
- Experience with personal computers and their related hardware
- Grade XII or equivalent education
- Succesful completion of a recognized certificate or diploma program in a related field, such as HVAC for Building Operators (SAIT), Mechanical Technology, or Electrical Technology
- Limited electrical license
