Sales and Rental Coordinator

About the Role:

The Sales and Rental Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of inside sales to customers that enter the dealership, as well as the rental counter. This includes handling incoming rental inquiries and maximizing fleet utilization by managing available and incoming rental units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an initial point of contact for customers.
  • Assist and build sales for customers who enter the dealership.
  • Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow up on leads.
  • Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information.
  • Closing sales and following up with customers.
  • Manage rental operations ensuring correct, accurate billing, as well as correct product availability and delivery.
  • Ensure all rental problems listed by customers are addressed according to company policy.
  • Maintain a positive company/customer relationship.
  • Administer and maintain adequate, neat, clean, and safe rental area, equipment, yard, and units.
  • Develop and maintain competent product knowledge of all current units rented.

Requirements:

  • 1 – 2 years' customer service experience with a history of exceeding customer's expectations.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract.
  • Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of CDK software considered an asset.
