Company Overview:

At Custom Truck One Source, we are a leading provider of truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment. Our Calgary shop specializes in a wide range of services, including aerial bucket trucks, digger derricks, hi-rail trucks, and cranes.

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician - Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy duty truck repair and maintenance, with experience working with various manufacturers' equipment.

Job Description:

  • Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components on vocational and utility trucks.
  • Assess, diagnose, repair, and/or replace damaged or worn parts on a variety of equipment.
  • Provide repair and maintenance to medium and heavy-duty trucks, with a focus on hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services, and labor to track costs and ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Submit work orders for approval and ensure budgets are maintained.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Journeyman or Red Seal certification in Heavy Equipment Technician - Off Road and/or On Road is desired.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Physical effort to move objects and tools; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
