Join Macdonald Mighty Movers as a Moving Truck Driver and be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional service to our customers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and Execute Routes: Use computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices to optimize routes, minimize fuel consumption, and reduce carbon emissions.
- Mountain Driving Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in driving in challenging mountainous terrain.
- Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods, taking care to secure cargo and prevent damage.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
- Payment and Documentation: Process payments and maintain accurate records, including driver logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 3 or D driver's license.
- Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with accident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
