Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Tru-North Supply Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Operate a semi-truck and trailer, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload goods, and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
