Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At Mor Logistics Manitoba Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel cross-border
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
  • Willing to travel overnight
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of stamina and endurance. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations.
