About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fish Processing Labourer to join our team at Connors Bros. Division of Clover Leaf Seafoods Corp.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting fish and shellfish to the work area, conditioning fish filets for wrapping or freezing, and weighing and packing fish in ice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport fish and shellfish to the work area
  • Condition fish filets for wrapping or freezing
  • Weigh and pack fish in ice
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
  • Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination
  • Clean work area
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy, odorous, hot, cold/refrigerated, and wet/damp environment. The ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel is required.
