Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Provide inspiring leadership to program and project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
- Financial Oversight: Provide financial direction and oversight at the program and project level, ensuring accurate and timely project reporting.
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Team Development and Performance Management: Assess and develop project delivery team members, conducting regular performance reviews and providing honest and direct feedback.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate the needs and capabilities of the project delivery team to the President and other Operations management team members, collaborating with Sales and Pre-Con teams in the development and kick-off of new projects.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical assistance in various aspects of greenfield or brownfield projects, including interpreting scope requirements, contract management, issue resolution, project and site management.
- Training and Development: Provide hands-on training of Project Cost Management to new or inexperienced team members.
- Experience: 15+ years' experience in all major facets of project delivery, including technical expertise in the hands-on delivery of Greenfield and Brownfield construction.
- Project Management: Experience delivering multiple projects in the $2-12 MM range and several in the $12-80 MM range.
- Leadership: Proven success leading profitable projects and teams while delivering high client satisfaction.
- Network: A well-developed network of ICI trades and vendors within the GTA, as well as a well-developed network of PXs, PMs, and PCs for future recruitment needs.
