Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for food service staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to food service staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Calculate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for food and kitchen supplies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and staff performance.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 food service staff, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
